Promotions are rather simple to understand.  At the end of every month Captain Megan meets with the Commander and goes over who has been active on board the crew.   Being active means using the message boards, writing for the newsletter, adding on to logs and so forth.  People that are active will be promoted.

It is easier to be promoted when you are an ensign than a Lieutenant.  This is because you are expected to take on a little more responsibility at each rank.  If you have any questions let me know.
