Shuttle
A Jaguar Shuttle

Welcome to one of Jaguars shuttle bays.  They are located on decks eleven (saucer) and twelve (star drive).  We also were the first ship to carry runabouts in our Runabout Bay.  Shuttles are used mainly for shorter trips.  Equipped with a type four phaser, they offer reasonable protection.  Shuttle bays are also used as cargo bays when empty.  Unlike other ships the Jaguar is caring a new type of shuttles with a more narrow nose (pictured above).  They are faster and carry a heavier armament.

The shuttle bay doors are a lot like garage doors from the 20th century.  Before a shuttle can launch the doors are opened and the bay is depressurized so the shuttle will not get blown out into space.  The main shuttle bay entrance is still protected by a forcefield much like the one in the brig but larger.  The shuttle than passes through the forcefield out into space.
